Job Description:
The Marketing Advisor provides information and support to his/her client base by performing those functions which lead to and fulfill a contractual arrangement with the client.
- Prospects and researches clients and categories.
- Presents the Valpak service and product to prospects.
- Maintains good records to document activity and subsequent action.
- Processes contracts with client and Valpak office, makes appointment with client for copy.
- Arranges with client to pick up copy, which may include defining all offers and disclaimers, reviewing nature and quality of art, and gathering all information pertinent to the ad. Makes appointment with client for proofing.
- Prepares layout for graphics. Monitors return of proof and response to graphics for any requested information.
- Shows proofs and reviews all elements with client, securing approval, signature and payment, and returns proofs to plant.
- Meets all deadlines for gathering and submitting layouts and proofs.
- Provides all necessary client information, including changes, for the offices preparation of final order.
- Processes 3602's (Proof of Mailing) and extras, requests for banners and point of purchase displays.
- Monitors invoices and makes collections, as needed, according to client's contract.
- Monitors and assists in evaluation of results.
- Completes other jobs as assigned.
