Shannon joined Valpak of N Colorado & S. Wyoming in 1998.  You can find her at the office every day, where she attends to all the aspects of our Blue envelope mailings, handles all the payables and has a wealth of information regarding the complex Corporate Valpak software that runs our business.

She says our small office is her “second family” and that she loves her job as Operations Manager.

In her free time, she likes to spend time with her husband, two kids, and their two dogs.

Marty Thomas is the President of Valpak of Northern Colorado & Southern Wyoming, bringing more than 30 years of experience in direct marketing. After earning his B.S. and M.S. degrees, he began his Valpak career in 1992 as the owner of Valpak of Northwest Florida before relocating to Colorado in 2002. Marty specializes in market trend analysis, understanding local consumer behavior, and training marketing consultants to deliver meaningful insights that help small businesses grow.

Barry was born and raised in Anaheim, California and moved to Ft. Collins in 1992 to attend Colorado State University. Since graduating in 1994, he's worked in various marketing roles for the past 30 years. Barry joined Valpak in 2004 and continues to have a huge passion for our company. He truly appreciates his clients and enjoys the partnerships he's formed over the past 21 years.

When he's not working, Barry enjoys spending time with his wife of 28 years and two grown children. Some of his hobbies include traveling, golfing, mountain getaways and attending Colorado State & Denver sporting events.

Anna Lane is from Wyoming and graduated from The Art Institute of Colorado where she studied advertising design. Anna has worked for Valpak since 2011, mainly in Cheyenne, Laramie and the northern part of our Colorado market. She has worked in advertising sales and marketing for over 35 years. Anna says “every business has goals they want to meet, different areas of their business they want to improve, but at the end of the day every business is focused on bringing in customers who are buyers and that’s what Valpak does. Working at Valpak gives me the opportunity to help my clients increase their sales, it allows me to challenge myself and feel good about what I do.”

Anna enjoys painting and writing and spending time with her family and friends. 

Katie graduated from college in Western New York and soon after found herself in Fort Collins! Katie has been working at Valpak ever since. She manages digital marketing strategy for Valpak and many of our clients, coordinates the Valpak Selections Magazine, handles graphic design, and takes on a variety of other responsibilities. She enjoys working at Valpak because it allows her to collaborate closely with small businesses throughout the community.

In her spare time, she spends time with her husband, their amazing daughter, and their dog.

Holly joined the Valpak team in March 2019 and brings a lifelong passion for advertising to her role. A Fort Collins native, she's proud to serve the community she calls home. With over two decades of experience in advertising sales—following in the footsteps of her father, a 30+ year industry veteran—Holly has a deep understanding of how to connect businesses with the right audiences. She thrives on building relationships, meeting new people, and helping local businesses grow and succeed.

Outside the office, Holly enjoys quality time with her husband and their 84-pound Rottweiler/German Shepherd mix, Von—named after NFL star Von Miller. She also loves catching up with friends and cheering on her favorite sports teams.  

Danny is a native of Durango, CO and graduated from Colorado State University in 2008 with a degree in Business Management. He began his management career as a business owner in the wireless industry, and then moved on to other various sales leadership roles within the beer distribution industry. After 9 years in the beer business, Danny shifted his focus toward advertising and helping small businesses grow with Valpak. His experience in working with numerous small businesses around Northern Colorado has been a valuable asset in his role as a Marketing Advisor. 

When he's not at work, he loves spending time with his wife Nikki, and three kids; Beau, Baylee, and Brynlee. Danny enjoys coaching High School baseball at Resurrection Christian school, as well as his daughter's competitive club softball team. He loves watching his kids compete in various sports and travelling to see new places. Danny is a past-active member of Northern Colorado United For Youth, a local non-profit raising money for at-risk and underprivileged youth in Northern Colorado.

Dee O’Sullivan has served as the Accounts Receivable Specialist at Valpak since 2020, where she manages all billing processes and supports contract entry, ad submissions, and updates clients’ digital offers. Originally from the Midwest, Dee later moved to Colorado, where she raised her children and developed strong roots in the Northern Colorado community. She values being part of a local company that helps businesses grow throughout the region.

Now residing in Oklahoma, Dee works remotely while frequently traveling to Colorado and Illinois to spend time with her children and grandchildren. She is also a proud military mom, with a stepson serving as a Military Police officer currently stationed in Arizona. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, relaxing by the pool, and spending quality time with her family.

​Kevin Johnson, a native of Ames, Iowa, relocated to Colorado in 1995 to pursue a career in sales. With 26 years in the sales industry, he has held numerous leadership roles. Kevin is now fulfilling his passion for helping businesses grow and thrive as a Marketing Advisor with Valpak.

Outside of work, Kevin enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Melissa. His personal interests include traveling, boating, camping, and fishing, along with watching his children play sports.

Jenny is proud to have grown up in eastern Nebraska amidst a community of good people, friends, and family. She studied at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and the University of Nebraska at Omaha.  Jenny moved to southern Colorado in 1998 where she worked in the mortgage industry for 10 years. Then she relocated to northern Colorado where she started a family. After taking some time away from the workforce to raise her kids, Jenny joined Valpak in 2023, where she knows that she is once again in the company of good people. She contributes to the goals of the team by assisting with the Administrative and Operations side of the business. Working at Valpak gives her a strong sense of community as the team works hard to support the advertising needs of local businesses. 

Jenny loves living in Colorado for its beauty and all that it has to offer. In her free time, Jenny likes to stay healthy by cooking and being active outdoors through various activities, having most recently taken to the fun and relaxation of paddleboarding. Jenny also enjoys watching her favorite sports teams and spending time with friends and family.

She especially loves to watch and support her kids in their various sports and extra-curricular endeavors.

Julia moved to Fort Collins to attend Colorado State University in 2016, where she found her love for Northern Colorado and the field of marketing through her studies. She has a passion for creativity and loves helping local companies bring their vision to life. Julia has used her digital marketing abilities in different industries such as real estate and college athletics before finding her role at Valpak. Her role within Valpak allows her to help small companies grow and enables her to work with a variety of clients. 

Jerry is a proud Colorado native with a wealth of experience spanning over 20 years in the beer industry, where he has held various roles and honed his skills in business management. Along the way, Jerry has successfully owned and operated a couple of businesses, gaining a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities entrepreneurs face. Passionate about helping businesses achieve their goals, he has found Valpak to be an incredibly effective marketing strategy that delivers results for companies across diverse industries. With a strong track record and a genuine commitment to supporting businesses, Jerry is dedicated to helping clients thrive and grow.

Outside of work, Jerry enjoys grabbing a beer with friends, skiing, hiking, camping, and spending time with his wife and 2 kids in any fun activity.
